Are Stars
By
Treeheart
Yearning,
keening to the light,
Star-Mother
sees her children flung.
Through
the viscous netted blight,
Sweetest
lullaby is sung.
"You
are a shining brilliant star,
Seen
through garbled atmosphere,
No
element will ever mar,
Fire
so distant, never near.
You
are a girl, no tender boy,
Yeared
by one, no, fifty-five,
Filled
with anger, anguish, joy,
Always
ancient, thrilled alive.
I
send a stream of power to you,
Gathered
from the galaxy,
Traveling
through polluted glue,
Striking
nets, it stretches free.
The
power encircles fiery globe,
Dipping
here and rising there,
Pouring
out it’s loving probe,
Over
weathered worn-out lair.
Touching,
teaching telling tear,
Bathing
bonds of searing pain,
Not
in time or atmosphere,
Beveling
beauty, breaking bane.
Through
the distant evernear,
Send
it, send it back one day,
Power
that seeks each lonely fear,
Of
stars that twinkle far away."
