Treeheart's Home

The Dryad Treeheart is a wood nymph who lives inside a tree, and protects her forest realm.  Normally shy and retiring, she sees that you are a weary traveler in need of assistance, so she beckons you to come into her tree home and rest a spell.  Treeheart serves you fresh apple cider and slabs of honeyed bread, which you devour hungrily.
You are starting to relax and feel peaceful as you get to know the Dryad a little. She tells you about her realm, and  the friends you may meet here, such as The Fairy Rosamunda and The Peaceful Hermit, who are alter egos of Treeheart herself.  If you are fortunate indeed, you might meet the Elf Tyraelin, an esteemed friend, who wandered this land in times of old.  Perhaps you might even find a Treasure.  There is a rumor that an old troll named Boogie left a jeweled dagger, a precious goblet, and a chest of gold around hereabouts! Treeheart has no need of such things. Finders Keepers!  There are also some diamonds that are a natural heritage of the realm.  You are welcome to keep some if you find them.

As you down the last of the sweet, aromatic cider, you are starting to feel more energetic.  You listen more carefully now, as Treeheart tells you that in another world, she manifests herself a 50 year old lady who lives with a husband, three fine young sons, and two cats.  In that life, Treeheart is a kindergarten teacher with a dream of going back to school and becoming a counselor and psychologist.
A silly dream, you say, for one so old, yet I tell you, in her heart, Treeheart does not feel old.

Treeheart also tells you that she likes to receive mail from and write to many people, young and old.  All you need do is click on this tree in order to write to her!

Tree-Mail!

Feeling restless as Treeheart talks, you surreptitiously glance at your map.  Observing this, Treeheart rises and leads you out of the tree home and into the forest.  Click to decide where you want to go next in this enchanted land.
